I could fall in love, with any woman as long as she's sweet as you I could fall in love with any woman as long as she's beauty like you when the sun is fading in the west Telling forth the coming of the dark night the stars were shining bright our love burning, hold you close to my chest I could fall in love with any woman as long as she's named after you I could fall in love with any woman as long as she loves me like you do when the sunset was fading in the west Telling forth the coming of the dark night the stars in the dark shining bright our love burning, hold you close to my chest I could fall in love with any woman as long as she would be you

Who’d A Thunk Words and music by: RJF Mensies & DT Brinkman How is life on your side of the border I wonder if I’d really like to know We went from silent to quiet in a daze Who’d a thunk we’d be fallin’ from grace We wasted too much time testing the water Where we should’ve dove right in If i were you i’d blame it on me Call it a fear, a fear of falling Chorus I know it’s so hard to live without The things you made me do without All got lost in an angry shout Tell me, there’s a way to work things out How is life on your side of the border I’m pretty sure now i need to know You’d better get your papers all in order Travel on a trip outside your mind Chorus We wasted too much time testing the water Where we should’ve dove right in If i were you i’d blame it on me Call it a fear, a fear of falling Chorus (2x) Tell me, there’s a way to work things out (2x)

"Wagon Wheel" (originally by Old Crow Medicine Show & Bob Dylan) Heading down south to the land of the pines I'm thumbing my way into North Carolina Staring up the road and pray to God I see headlights I made it down the coast in seventeen hours Picking me a bouquet of dogwood flowers And I'm a-hopin' for Raleigh, I can see my baby tonight So rock me momma like a wagon wheel Rock me momma any way you feel Hey momma rock me Rock me momma like the wind and the rain Rock me momma like a south bound train Hey momma rock me Running from the cold up in New England I was born to be a fiddler in an old time string band My baby plays a guitar, I pick a banjo now Oh, north country winters keep a-getting me down Lost my money playing poker so I had to leave town But I ain't turning back to living that old life no more So rock me momma like a wagon wheel Rock me momma any way you feel Hey momma rock me Rock me momma like the wind and the rain Rock me momma like a south bound train Hey momma rock me Walkin' to the south out of Roanoke I caught a trucker out of Philly had a nice long toke But he's a-heading west from the Cumberland gap To Johnson City, Tennessee I gotta get a move on before the sun I hear my baby calling my name and I know that she's the only one And if I die in Raleigh at least I will die free So rock me momma like a wagon wheel Rock me momma any way you feel Hey momma rock me Oh, rock me momma like the wind and the rain Rock me momma like a south bound train Hey, hey momma rock me Oh, so rock me momma like a wagon wheel Rock me momma any way you feel (I wanna feel) Hey, hey momma rock me (momma rock me, momma rock me) Rock me momma like the wind and the rain Rock me momma like a south bound train (I wanna rock like a south bound train) Hey momma rock me Rock me

The Badge said Nicky 2014 (c) R. Brinkman/J. Zheutlin The badge she wore / said her name was Nicky First day at work / handing back money / was still tricky She made a mistake / didn't give me change enough Just turned sixteen / first jobs can be though She was sitting there / with her dog / in the train Hair all gray / feet hurt from walking / but she won't complain Wrinkles in her face / A bag, holding her stuff growing older can sometimes / be so tough She must have been / so beautiful / when she was young like a girl named Nicky / Wearing a badge / with her name She was once young / With a passion for life But her bosses came along / with a surgical knife. Cut out someones passion / her joy and her smile Leave her with an empty shell / who wished / she could die So if the day comes / they'll send Nicky home I hope she won't be / so all alone / God help us,... what have we done

about

** Pre-release version, only available at BandCamp **

This album contains a collection of songs that won't fit any other album. It contains original songs as well as covers from Bob Dylan, Johnny Cash and others.

The title "The Leftover Tracks" was chosen since I was planning to finish and release some unfinished songs. There are several songs on this collection that have been shelved away gathering dust for a long time, there are some covers on it I have been wanting to do for years and some brand new songs written while recording the unfinished songs..

Thanks for listening!
